Hydraulic characteristics and energy saving analysis of jet pumps in central heating system

Establishes an experimental platform and analyses the influence of operating differential pressure and heating network resistance on the operating characteristics of jet pump system. The results show that jet pump can operate normally in the high efficient working area when the heating network is regulated certrally, and when the heating network resistance changes, corresponding adjustment is necessary if the maximum efficiency decreases by 3%. The engineering practice shows that compared with the traditional heating system, the jet pump heating system not only improves the indoor heating quality of end users, but has an average power saving rate of 23.2% and the heat saving rate of up to 18.8%.
